MAP Architects specified Colt Firelight Duo for both day to day and smoke extract ventilation. Firelight Duo provides high performance extract ventilation and has been designed with the ever more stringent demands of the energy performance in buildings and has been tested to EN-12101-2. Colt worked closely with the main contractor and façade contractor Raylight Aluminium on this job to ensure a smooth installation. In the end the Firelight Duos fit perfectly into the aluminium joinery. Recently, on a hot summers day our sales engineer visited the completed project. He said” On arrival into the upstairs atrium, the temperature was around 38˚. They then they manually opened the Firelights which quickly brought the temperature down to a more comfortable 25˚.” What a great example of the effectiveness of these ventilators.
