Eden Park

The 2010 upgrade of Eden Park for the Rugby World Cup included installation of two massive video score boards, big enough to be visible to 60,000 rugby fans.

Due to the gigantic scale of these boards, when in use a large amount of heat is generated. To avoid overheating and to safeguard in the event of fire, Colt installed five Liberator low profile louvred smoke and heat ventilators on each of the two scoreboards.

Colt Products and systems’ Liberator is a powered ventilator designed for the extraction of smoke and hot gasses in the event of fire.
