Newmarket Railway Station

Colt worked closely with the Architects and Engineers to create an attractive and vibrant public amenity and new rail passenger gateway. This included installation of a single glazed centrally pivoted ventilator and certified smoke vent called Coltlite. Coltlite is tested to international and NZ standards. It is available motorised or manually operated and has a maximum span of 1800mm wide.

Newmarket Railway Station required a glazing system that would provide smoke control and natural ventilation. It needed to be a fully automatic system that linked into the fire alarms as well as temperature and rain sensors. Coltlite easily satisfied our client’s requirements and also produced an aesthetically pleasing glass facade.
