Britomart East One & Two

Britomart East One and Two is 40,000m² commercial development above the Britomart train station in downtown Auckland. To ensure each building complies with NZ Fire Safety Standards Colt Products and Systems were employed to provide a full turnkey solution. To achieve a more open plan effect for each floor, fire walls were substituted with hidden fire curtains. These curtains drop to provide a fire rating between the stairwell and each level. Colt first provided a full set of CAD drawings for the entire building. From the approved drawings Colt were commissioned to manufacture and install the fire curtains. Each component was especially modified to ensure all fixings were hidden to achieve a more aesthetically pleasing result.
